Date of Dream: 7/09/09
I remember moving about, and visiting people, including my mother, and it wasn’t until a young woman came up to me and said, “Alicia, come with me”, and took my hand, that I realized things weren’t as they seemed. The woman stood me in front of a tiny monitor recessed in a wall, and it started asking me questions about something that had happened to me, and suddenly I realized I was dead. How I died came back to me in a rush.
I remember becoming very sad when I realized I was dead because of my own stupidity (I had taken too many pills of some sort). So I started crying and bemoaning my unexpected demise. Then the young woman moved me through several other questions which I don’t remember – except I think they were about things I failed to do in life. I was basically going through my life review.
When I finished I looked around the room, and noticed that it looked like either the inside of a large underground basement or parking garage. There were large cement pillars, here and there. And there were other people milling about. None of them were upset or in pain or anything like that. So it wasn’t hell, but instead more like a way station, or holding area; perhaps a processing center for people that had just passed.
Possible Dream Interpretation:
Two different interpretations were available:
1. I am embarking on a stage of transformation and change in my life.
2. Evil is about to attack me, or is threatening me from a source that has contributed to my former advancement and enjoyment.
I didn’t get any foreboding feelings from this dream, so I’m more inclined to #1.
