Last night I was sleeping on the couch as I comforted our dog, Sierra, who had to have a tooth pulled yesterday. Sierra is a three year old Chihuahua rescue from Mexico. She was found in a black garbage bag with her brother and dead mother. The poor thing not only went through a horrible ordeal, but now has to deal with genetically bad teeth; most likely due to poor nutrition as a puppy. So every two or three years she is having to face having teeth pulled, even though we are doing whatever we can to save her teeth.
Anyway, as I was sleeping on the couch, Mary was tossing and turning in the bedroom, unable to sleep because of a difficult day at work. While lying there, wide awake, she heard a female voice in the room say something to her. Unfortunately, she didn’t catch what was being said. However, I’m certain it had something to do with Sierra or Mary’s bad day.
