I decided to spend some time in mediation this morning; trying to experience an OBE, a vision, or whatever might come as a result. As I lay on the couch, deep in relaxation and mediation, I suddenly felt myself floating up towards the ceiling and turned to look back down at my body. Then, in a flash I was floating over a very beautiful park. Well, not actually over it, but hovering about 2 feet or more above the ground. I found myself moving throughout the park, and up to three different men, looking intently at them, taking in every feature of their faces. They just stood there, as if they knew I was checking them out, but didn’t make any effort to move. One of them in particular caught my attention, and I remember going up to him and looking at every crease in his face, examining his glasses, the shape of his nose, the color of his eyes, the way his hair played across his brow, etc.
I have absolutely no idea why I was doing this, nor why they were just standing there letting me do it. But I do recall thinking I have to remember what this man looks like, I need to be able to bring to mind everything about him. But, unfortunately I remember very little. All I recall is the experience, not the details. Very, very curious. I’ll have to pray about it, and ask God to bring back to my mind the rest of what happened.
Update:
As I’ve considered this experience, I can now recall a little bit about what the third man looked like. He had loose black hair, that wasn’t long but wasn’t short either. And he and wore modern looking glasses. His eyes were kind, and patient. I feel as if I’m going to meet him someday .. that there is a reason I was shown him. The other two … well .. maybe my subconscious will remember them when the time is right.
