The Cuz

Last month, Mary and I received very devastating news that Mary’s cousin, “D” (I’m leaving her name out for privacy sake), was diagnosed with cancer.  As a result, she was to have her kidney removed.  We also learned from one of Mary’s relatives that the cancer may have spread to D’s lymph nodes, not a good sign.

Just before learning of “D”‘s prognosis, I had listened to a remarkable woman named Lynn McTaggart, the author of “The Intention Experiment” and “The Field” on the “Coast to Coast AM” radio show.  If you don’t know who Lynn McTaggart is, by all means, look into her.  She is experimenting in the area of Intentions, the ability to affect things or people with one’s thoughts.

Lynn’s focus, of course, is on the positive aspects of this ability; healing, cleaning up our environment, etc.  She is currently working with several scientists on an experiment to make polluted water clean.  She has also worked with long distance healing, and has had some very, very remarkable results.  And I should note that this is not something she is doing by herself, but instead she has enlisted a large group of volunteers that send positive intentions as a group mind.

Well, to make a long story short, I decided to send daily positive intentions to “D”, focusing on the containment of the cancer (in the kidney, or absolute healing of the kidney), and then the healing of any other cancer that may have spread further.   On October 14th, I, along with Mary and “D”‘s brother and sisters sat in the waiting room for 8 hours waiting for the diagnosis of “D”‘s kidney removal.  Finally, around 4:30 PM the doctor came into the waiting room, and announced that the operation went beautifully, and as far as she could see, they got all the cancer.

Then yesterday, October 27th, Mary spoke with “D”, and she got wonderful news!  The pathology report came back, the cancer has not spread!  Needless to say, I went into another room and cried my eyes out in relief and joy.  “D” is going to be alright!
