I haven’t dreamed in quite a while, or at least I haven’t been able to remember my dreams when I wake up. So when I had the following dream on 7/19, I was very happy that I actually remembered the majority of it. Anyway, here’s the dream ….

I was traveling in the mountains somewhere and saw a quarry of limestone. Being a bit of a rock hound (person that likes to hunt for gems and minerals), I decided to check it out. What really interested me about the quarry was what looked like green and pink stones dispersed within the limestone. I did notice, however, that the limestone cliffs were not very stable (parts of them were crumbling), and told myself that I’d be in and out very quickly.

As I searched throughout the quarry, I came upon a particularly interesting section that had a lot of pink in it. Upon closer inspection I realized that the “pink” stone was actually a powdered form of amethyst with quart crystals throughout. I then started perusing the cliffs to see if I could find a more solid form of the crystal like stone. It was then that I heard a commotion at the entrance to the quarry.

Looking towards the commotion I saw an army of soldiers in white jumpsuits marching towards me. In absolute terror I crouched down on the ground, hoping they would march right by without seeing me. However, one of the soldiers did see me, and came right up to me. He tapped me on the shoulder and said, “I will take you to be my wife. Come!” It was then that I realized that the invading army was of Middle Eastern decent, but have no idea what particular country.

I was then taken to an encampment of some sort where a lot of other people were being held. Everyone was in total shock; everyone except for one woman. The woman started shouting and screaming, making all kinds of commotion, and one of the soldiers walked up to her and shot her in the head, killing her. That was when I woke up. God I hope this was not a premonition.
