The following are EVPs captured during the investigation of a private residence in Elk Grove, CA:

Since we often capture some pretty good EVPs during our initial walk-through, we try to make it a priority to do a digital recording. The walk-through of this residence was no exception.
Initial Walk-through:
The following clip was recorded in the metal shed while the owner described how the radio likes to turn on and off on its own. It contains an EVP of a man with a wheezy sounding voice:
“That’s Lou. What’s up man?”
The following clip was recorded in the spare bedroom, and contains an EVP that needed to be reversed. The clip contains the EVP as it normally appears, and reversed:
“They’re game. Let’s play em”
The following clip was recorded in the living room, and contains an EVP of what appears to be the “grouchy old man” as described by the owner:
“Don’t care about me”
Investigation:
While Mary was investigating in the living room, the following clips were recorded:
The following clip contains a reference to a shadow figure that Mary saw while looking from the living room into the master bedroom:
“Burt is the big shadowy someone”
While still in the living room, Mary decided to see if she could get one of the entities to tell more about his/herself. The following clip contains an amazing response that may be the female entities actual address. We did research the address and could not find “hasselwood” anywhere in Elk Grove or the surrounding area. It is possible that she is saying her name, “Stephanie Hasselwood”, but we can’t be for certain.
“17 Hasselwood, right here”
During the investigation John came into the living room looking for a flashlight, and this set of EVPs was captured while he rummaged through his equipment case:
“I want some trouble .. (yell) .. Look at the man! He doesn’t even know what he’s doing!”
While in the master bedroom, Alicia manages to get the following response from one of the entities:
“I’m a hermit”
The following clip contains an EVP played both forward and reversed. When played forward the clip contains the words “morally” and “circumcised”. This is very interesting as Anne Temple, our Medium picked up that a religious group lived on or near the property at one time. Reversed the clip, however, says something quite different:
Normal “(something) morally .. (something) circumcised”
Reversed “Try and f–k us, then we’re going to attack you”
In an effort to try and communicate with the entities, Alicia decided to use dowsing rods. While dowsing she did a recording to try and pick up any EVPs that may occur in direct response to her questions. The following clips contain those EVPs:
“Make it cross, huh? I’m right next to ya”
“Look at it goin. It’s gettin squirrley!”
Another intriguing method for capturing EVPs is called “radio sweep”. Alicia used this method during the investigation in the master bedroom and picked up some very cool responses:
Actual EVP: “No”
Radio Sweep EVPs: “They are dead! …. None of your business, so stop try riddening us out of here!”
Later, near the end of the investigation, Alicia and John decided to investigate the large front bedroom. It was in this room that a figure was supposedly scaring a new born baby.
The following clip contains a response from a female entity. This may be the voice of the female apparition that Sabrina saw standing directly in front of her in the living room:
“It doesn’t know that you care”
The following clip may very possibly be Burt, who according to Anne, was the property caretaker, and was abusive to the children:
“It’s my fault, in some way”
Anne Temple’s Walk-through:
After we completed the investigation of the house and the metal shed, we set up a walk-through with our Medium, Anne Temple. During her walk-through we captured a number of interesting EVPs which appeared to be in direct response to things Anne was talking about or saying:
The following clip, which was recorded outside, contains a high pitched response from a female entity. It sounds like she was having difficulty talking.
“Given name, Brodie”
The following clip, also recorded outside, contains three EVPs from a female and male entity. They were recorded as we discussed the background of the property.
Female: “Given name”
Male voice: “Get back!”
Male voice: “You broke his (something)!”
The following clip was recorded just outside the master bathroom where a presence has been felt on numerous occasions. According to Anne, the entity that haunts the bathroom is an upper class Spanish woman. This clip appears to have captured this woman responding to what Anne just said. Anne meant to say “Native American and Black”.
“That’s not truuuueee!”
As Anne discussed the different entities haunting the property, she picked up a friend of the husband that died years ago.
“I think I’ll learn some day”
During the walk-through Sabrina discussed with Anne an empathic experience she had. According to Anne she may have been feeling what Samuel felt as he was being hung from the rafters in the former shed. The following clip contains part of their discussion, and a possible response from Samuel. It occurs right after Alicia says, “yep”
“Snaps you down”
While in the large front bedroom, we had some interesting experiences including seeing a large shadow move across the entire ceiling. The following clip contains something even more amazing. In the very beginning of the clip you can hear a child say something in reference to “Burt”, and then Anne talks about Burt immediately afterward:
“Tell them Burt did us wrong”
